Today is a day of reflection for so many of us. Today is about remember the lives that were that sunny Tuesday morning. Today is about praying for all the lives forever changed.

Then again, weren’t we all changed that day? Didn’t we all love a little more and hold on a little tighter? Didn’t we all feel a little more compassion and care for our neighbors?

The attacks that were to supposed to bring us to our knees brought us closer together. For the first time many of us truly understood the words, “united we stand.”

No words can bring back loved ones lost. Nothing can bring back innocence lost that day. Only a promise can be made – we will never forget.
